Exhibition Express | The 12th Annual ChemPharma International Summit-Asia CIS-Asia 2023 was Successfully Held

The much-anticipated, two-day event “12th Annual ChemPharma International Summit-Asia (CIS-Asia 2023)” co-organized by Best Media and the Pharmaceutical Engineering Committee of China Pharmaceutical Association, took place at International Convention Centre Hotel Society Hill Tianjin on March 16-17, 2023.

There were 12 sub-forums in this conference, and over 140 international and domestic top experts were invited to share the latest technology and experience in generic drugs, 505(b)2 and innovative drugs from the perspectives of strategy, technology, market, regulation, and clinical practice. It also gathered nearly 2,000 industry colleagues and more than 100 sponsors to discuss the development trend and technical details, and jointly assist domestic pharmaceutical companies in research and development.

Dr. Zhong, CTO of LinkChem, was invited to deliver a speech entitled "The Art of GMP Synthetic Route Design and Process Scale-up of Small Molecule Drugs", which presented the technical elements of GMP process route design and (total) synthesis of natural products, and exploration process of synthetic route and process production with case studies. Dr. Zhong also participated in the panel discussion on "How to select API process and further optimize in the process of new drug development". He shared his technical experience around the current R&D status and broad market prospect of new drugs and APIs, addressing the challenges and opportunities of small molecule drug industry with industry experts.
